What is Bermocoll 481 FQ?

Bermocoll powder is a group of non-ionic cellulose ethers that are soluble in water. This material is used in a variety of industrial applications to provide improved performance for dry mix mortars and paints.

Wood and plant fibers are mostly made of cellulose, which is a natural polymer. To produce Bromocoll, cellulose reacts with various substituents such as methyl, ethyl, hydroxyethyl, or hydrophobic groups.

This process increases the water solubility of this substance. So it is a natural polymer from wood pulp or cotton linter.

Bermocol is a grade of ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose with high concentration. It is easily dispersed in cold water. 

When producing it, cellulose reacts with various substituents such as methyl, ethyl, hydroxyethyl, or other hydrophobic groups.

This process is called etherification and it makes it soluble in water.

What is Esterification?

Types:

They are manufactured in two main cellulose ether types EHEC (ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose) and MEHEC (methyl ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose). 

Its grades are all soluble in water and are used in a variety of industrial applications, but mainly in water-based construction paints. 

What is Bermocoll 481 Fq Tylose?

Indications:

Bermocol cellulose ethers improve thermal insulation in construction products such as tile adhesives, leveling compounds, gap fillers, repair mortars, and composite systems mortars.

Tylose is a form of hydroxymethyl cellulose. This powder is a natural polymer, each ring of which has three hydroxyl groups. 

This material has different uses with different characteristics and is usually used as a viscosity enhancer, stabilizer, and binder.

When used, Bermacol acts as a thickening agent, stabilizing agent, water retention agent, and dispersing agent in products.

It improves water retention and sag resistance and also increases adhesive strength and construction efficiency.

For use in the paint industry, it offers significant stability and performance benefits for water-based paints and coatings, including improved splash and sag resistance, color stability, and better-covering power.

In the building and construction industry, Bermocol is also used as an ingredient in dry mix mortars, which helps improve adhesion, flexibility, water retention, and performance.

High-viscosity Bermocols are often used for dry mix skim coatings, colored mortars, and composite systems for external thermal insulation and board adhesives and clear coatings.

This polymer is mainly used in latex paint for thickening and stabilization.

This material, similar to many industrially processed powder materials, is combustible and can cause an explosion. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to avoid creating dust when using or in its storage place.
